New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Westlight Windows Fort Lauderdale pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.
Select the right products
Compare styles, materials and glass packages side by side until the fit is right for your rooms, your budget and your goals. The product-line comparison below is the place to start.
Prepare your home for install
Before install day we walk you through a short checklist - furniture pulled back, treatments down, a clear path to each opening - so install day is watch-it-happen, not scramble.

Meet the Fort Lauderdale Team Behind Westlight Windows Fort Lauderdale
We’re an independently owned and operated Kingswell location, and the crew you’ll see at your door in Fort Lauderdale has spent years working in South Florida heat, humidity, and hurricane season. The work isn’t glamorous, but it matters: a window that’s plumb, sealed, and flashed right keeps water out of your drywall and keeps your electric bill from climbing every August. Our installers, service coordinator, and apprentices all work under the same rule: do the job the way you’d want it done in your own house. That means showing up when we say, leaving the job site cleaner than we found it, and putting the guarantee in writing.
Our People
Marcus T., Lead Installation Technician
Marcus has been setting windows and doors in Broward County for 14 years, the last six of them with Westlight Windows Fort Lauderdale. He’s the guy who walks a job before anyone touches a tool, checking for rotted sills, out-of-square openings, and the kind of water damage that hides behind old aluminum frames in neighborhoods like Victoria Park and Sailboat Bend. Marcus holds manufacturer certifications for PGT and CGI impact-rated product lines, which matters when you’re installing glass that has to meet Miami-Dade pressure codes. He’s originally from Opa-locka, keeps a set of folding rulers in his truck that belonged to his uncle, and will tell you without being asked that the worst install he ever saw was a sliding door held in place with drywall screws.
Dana R., Senior Installer
Dana came to us seven years ago after running her own handywoman business in Pembroke Pines, and she’s the person you want on a second-story retrofit or a stairwell window that requires scaffolding and patience. She specializes in ECO Window Systems and ES Windows products, and she’s the crew’s go-to for low-e glass selections when a customer wants to cut UV damage on furniture while still keeping the room bright. Dana is precise about the details that don’t get photographed: backer rod, flashing tape, shim placement, and the final bead of sealant that has to look clean because it’s at eye level. Outside of work, she restores old wooden boats at her brother’s shop in Dania Beach and has strong opinions about varnish.
Luis M., Service Coordinator and Field Tech
Luis started with Westlight as an apprentice in 2018 and now splits his time between the phone and the field, which means when you call with a question about your project, you might be talking to the same person who later shows up to check a measurement. He’s certified on Therma-Tru entry-door installation and handles most of our door work, including rehanging out-of-plumb doors in older Fort Lauderdale homes where settling has shifted the framing. Luis keeps the job schedule moving and is the one who calls you with your arrival window the morning of the install. He was born in Hialeah, has two kids in Broward County public schools, and can identify a water intrusion problem from a single phone photo about 80% of the time.
Jalen P., Apprentice Installer
Jalen joined us in 2024 after finishing trade school, and he’s in that stage of learning where he’s fast enough to be useful and still slow enough to catch mistakes before they turn into callbacks. He works under Marcus and Dana on window replacement jobs, learning how impact windows get anchored in concrete block versus wood frame, and how to handle Mr-Glass and ViewLux product lines without scratching the finish. Jalen grew up in Lauderhill and is the only person on the crew who can back a box truck into a tight Fort Lauderdale driveway on the first try without hitting a fence. He asks a lot of questions, which we like, because the questions tend to be the same ones a homeowner would ask if they were standing behind him.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Westlight Windows Fort Lauderdale project runs on the Kingswell Way, and that’s not a slogan we hang on a wall. It’s five promises that every person on this page has to keep: say the price before the work starts, show up in the arrival window we gave you, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, and come back if the work fails. That last one is the 365-Day Done Right Promise, and it means if something isn’t right within the guarantee period, we return and correct it at no charge. No negotiating, no service fee, no “that must have been the other crew.” Owen Satterfield, the owner, has been holding the team to this standard since 2009, and the crew in Fort Lauderdale knows that a job isn’t finished until the customer says it’s finished. We’re not the biggest window company in Broward County, and that’s fine. We’d rather be the one that answers the phone, does the work correctly, and earns a call back when you’re ready for the next phase.
